What the app does

Restock Relay lets merchants using Shopify offer back-in-stock email alerts, pre-order labels and order quantity limits.

Data we process for merchants

• Store information: store domain, an access token issued by Shopify, and the settings you configure (email texts, pre-order rules, order limits).
• Product information: product and variant identifiers, titles, handles and inventory availability, used only to decide when to send alerts and to show pre-order labels.

Data we process about your customers

• Email addresses submitted through the "Notify me" form, with the product and variant requested, the page language and the time of the request.
• Delivery records for alert emails: status, provider message id and time.

We use this data only to send the requested back-in-stock alert and to show merchants who is waiting for which product. We never sell it, never use it for our own marketing, and share it only with our email delivery provider to deliver the alert.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt) and processed by our hosting provider. Connections use HTTPS and encrypted database connections.

Retention and deletion

• Each alert is sent once. Requests remain visible in the merchant dashboard so merchants can see demand and export it.
• Customers can unsubscribe from any alert email with one click.
• When a merchant uninstalls the app, all store and customer data is deleted. We honour Shopify's customer data request and erasure requests within 30 days and shop erasure requests within 48 hours.

Your rights

Merchants and their customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting us at support@restockrelay.app.

We will update this page when the app changes how it handles data and note the date above.
