Restock Relay is a Shopify app for stores that sell out. Shoppers ask to be told when a variant is back, you keep selling with pre-orders, and order limits stop bulk buyers at checkout.

What it does

Notify me when available

A theme block on sold-out variants collects the shopper's email. When that exact variant is back in stock, they get one alert with a one-click unsubscribe.

The dashboard lists the most wanted products and variants, so you know what to restock first.

Pre-orders

Pick variants, add a delivery note and an optional cap. The buy button reads "Pre-order" and the order carries a "Pre-order" line property.

Order limits

Minimum and maximum quantities per product or per cart, enforced at checkout by a Shopify Function on any theme.

Prices in USD per store, billed by Shopify. Every plan includes custom email text, your sender name and reply-to address.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the email addresses come from?

Only from shoppers who type their address into the "Notify me" form on your product page. The app never reads your customer list.

How many emails does a shopper get?

One alert per request, sent when the variant they asked about is available again. No newsletters, no follow-ups.

Does it need theme code changes?

No. It works with Online Store 2.0 themes through an app block and an app embed you switch on in the theme editor.

What happens when I uninstall?

Alerts stop immediately and your store data is deleted, following Shopify's data-deletion process.

How is billing handled?

Through your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel the plan at any time from the app.
